It bugs me that...
1. I never find enough time to make myself breakfast in the morning before going to work or school
why: not setting alarms with sufficient time to get ready and make breakfast
2. Some of my students show up to a flight unprepared and not ready to fly
why: They aren't putting in the effort to make progress
3. People take their kids out in public and can't control them from throwing tantrums
why: they have no authority over their children, hence they do whatever they want
4. I have over 1000 songs in my library but every time I hit shuffle it always seems that the same 5 songs play
why: Apple Music isn't the best streaming service and doesn't have great algorithms to learn your music taste
5. People in the state of Florida are not competent drivers
why: the drivers license test is a complete joke and people not qualified manage to get their license
6. Everyone decides to hit the gym around 6-10 pm and it's always full
why: people get out of work and it is the cheapest gym in town
7. Carrying my groceries upstairs
why: I live on the second floor of my apartment complex
8. Buying something online and not getting what you expected
why: sizing for different brands and different countries are different
9. Dog owners think their dog is the cutest thing to ever exist
why: they form an emotional attachment with their pets and see them through a filtered lens
10. When you can't skip an add on YouTube
why: YouTube creators need to monetize their videos in order to make money
11. I had classes that were across campus with 5 minutes to get there
why: didn't thoroughly think how practicable that schedule was
12. My car will start making weird noises
why: it is in need of maintenance and something underlying is occurring
13. My iPhone thinking I'm another person when I try to unlock it with my sunglasses on
why: facial recognition is not perfect and needs to scan my entire face
14. I don't get very well service inside a building
why: cellular service has a hard time traveling through walls since the signal works of line of sight
15. It's always a mission to decide where to eat with someone else/ group of people
why: people have different taste and desires at different times, so it's only reasonable that it will happen
16. I can't drive home when I didn't drive somewhere and having to rely on someone else
why: getting picked up rather than driving to meet up with people
17. When I need to get somewhere in a hurry I manage to get all the red lights
why: usually I'm in a hurry in the morning when traffic is heavy and lights are changing quicker than usual
18. People blasting videos out in public
why: some individuals are inconsiderate of their surroundings and don't pay attention
19. Trailers to movies are always better than the actual movie
why: they want as many people to come watch the movie so they have to advertise the best parts of the movie
20. People who know the risk of smoking and still do it
why: because they became addicted to the tobacco in the cigarettes
Reflection:
Watching the YouTube video attached to the Bug List assignment I originally thought it was going to be breeze but as I started I found myself thinking more and more of what really bothered me. As an individual who doesn't really pay too much attention to what is going on around me I spent a lot of time going through my daily routine to try and remember what were the little things throughout my day that bothers me. It definitely took significantly longer than I originally expected. The most challenging part of the assignment was figuring out what bugged me, the why came a lot easier when I knew what I was dealing with.
